Our story
From a parcel that couldn't find its way, to a company that knows every road.
Our story began far from home, with a parcel no one could carry. From that small problem came an idea, then a platform, then an integrated logistics company. Our identity came from Al-Baha: our colour from al-Dharm, the flower that covers its mountains every spring; our speed from the Arabian leopard of Jabal Shada; and our voice from the way Al-Baha welcomes a guest.

01Michigan · United States
It began with a wooden cabinet.
At Michigan State University, Naif was studying mechanical engineering. Thousands of kilometres away, in Saudi Arabia, he had a workshop where he was building a wooden cabinet.
He bought what the work needed in America, packed it, and then came a question that sounded simple: how does this get to Saudi Arabia?
He searched and searched, and couldn't find the right shipping company. It looked like a small problem. But it showed him something much bigger: for all the companies that ship, shipping was still hard for the people who need it.
Sometimes a company starts with a question no one has answered yet.

02The idea
Why not bring every shipping company into one place?
Platforms like Booking and Priceline had brought hotels and flights into one place. Naif decided to do the same for shipping: a platform that gathers the shipping companies, compares them side by side, and lets you choose what suits your shipment — at a clear price, with a known time.
The idea was never to be one more shipping company. It was to be the easiest road to all of them.

03From a platform to a company
Then the idea grew.
In time it went further: from a platform that brings shipping companies together to an integrated logistics company of our own — parcels, freight, transport and logistics, carried by our own people and our own network.
Today we have offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, and a network serving customers at destinations at home and abroad — from Dubai to the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and the United States, where the story began.

04Al-Baha · the Sarawat Mountains
Our identity, we took from Al-Baha.
In the south-west of the Kingdom, more than two thousand metres up, Al-Baha sits along the Sarawat range: stone villages on the edges of ridges, terraces raised stone by stone, and roads that wind around the slopes as if looking for a way out of the mist.
Here distance is measured in mountains, and a parcel that arrives on time is welcomed like a guest. BaridX is a Saudi startup from the Al-Baha region — and from its mountains we took our colour and our pace.

05The slopes of the Sarawat · every spring
We didn't pick our colour from a swatch book. We found it on the mountain.
When spring comes to Al-Baha, the slopes change. Al-Dharm blooms — the mountain lavender the people of the Sarawat have known for generations — and covers the rocks in a calm violet. Its scent fills the air, and bees come from everywhere to make a honey from it that is rare, because the flowers only last a short season.
Al-Dharm doesn't ask for much. It grows in thin soil, endures cold and drought, and returns every year as if it had never left. BaridX's violet comes from it — a colour that carries what we want in every shipment: roots that hold, patience on the road, and a good trace that arrives before we do.

06Jabal Shada · Al-Baha
And we learned speed from the leopard.
West of Al-Baha, where the Sarawat run down towards Tihama, Jabal Shada al-A'la rises out of the land: a mass of rock and giant boulders, juniper and wild olive holding on to its slopes. It is Al-Baha's one nature reserve — and the Arabian leopard is among the animals of these mountains.
The Arabian leopard doesn't run to arrive first. It runs to arrive exactly. It knows the rock it will land on before it leaps, and it wastes no step on ground where there is no road. That is the speed we want: not hurry, but knowing the way.
Today the Arabian leopard is one of the rarest animals on earth — fewer than two hundred remain in the wild. It teaches us one more thing: what is precious is protected. That is how we treat every shipment trusted to us.
To us, speed isn't hurry. It's knowing the way.

07Al-Baha's welcome
And our voice is the way Al-Baha welcomes a guest.
In Al-Baha, the first thing a guest hears is a short welcome that says everything:
مرحبًا هيل
Marhaban hail
08From Al-Baha to the world
We don't just deliver parcels.
Every parcel carries someone's waiting — a gift for a mother, medicine for someone unwell, the first order of a small shop that dreams of growing. We know it, because our own story began with a parcel that had no way home.
So we deliver certainty, speed and peace of mind — every single time. And wherever we go, we carry the colour of al-Dharm, the step of the leopard, and a little of the mountain's patience.
